This event must be paid in advance. The cost is $29.00 per person including a unique “Unique Dragon Themed Glass Piece” and Glass Blowing Demonstration..Please use the PayPal button below to pay after you sign up. If paying for more than one person, just change the quantity from 1 to 2.
(If not paid within 24 hours of signing up, your spot will be released to make room for others)

The Dragon Fire Run has been one of the most popular runs at MOTD since it was created in 2013. This year's run will be a little different as the Green Energy Park is under a large expansion and the construction going on does not permit us to go to the park. However, the great folks at the GEP are setting up a small glass furnace at Innovation Station at Dillsboro where we they will give us a private glass blowing demonstration. As always, your payment includes a "Unique Dragon Themed Glass Piece".

We will follow the same route as before, leaving Fontana Village out the back door. Line up at General Store Parking Lot at Fontana Village (upper section, not in front of the store). The route will take us on a set of different twisties for 2 hours, ending in Dillsboro at Innovation Brewing.

While there you can enjoy some brews from Innovation in their taproom or on their deck overlooking the creek. Lunch is on your own and you can order it from Forgers Canteen (which is next door) and they will deliver it to your table at Innovation or pick up your food from several of the other Dillsboro locations and bring it to Innovation. See list below.

You are welcome to hang in the quaint town of Dillsboro for a while and motor back to Fontana Village on your own.
