21st Annual MINI's on the Dragon Review!
May 1st to May 5th 2024
We ended up with 580 MINIacs (561 registered and 19 walk-ups). with approx. 456 MINIs.

- Snooter aka Barry Patascher organized the event for the 15th and Final year
- The "Dream Team" aka Colin Squire, Leon Dixon, Cory Brown and Xiek will be leading our 2025 event
- Folks from Canada, Germany, England and 28 States made the journey this year. With Florida taking the lead.
- Fontana Village new lease holders started some major upgrades
- Jason "XIEK" Hurdle ran the registration room once again
- We moved Shirts and Grill Badges online.
- We had 9 Awesome Vendors support our 2st Anniversary
- Fontana supplied live music for our second "Music under the Stars" after the Welcome Dinner
- Drive N Eat carried on the Cigar Salon tradition
- Dallas hosted our Newbie Orientations.
- MINI of Knoxville hosted our Welcome Dinner
- Dragon Parade hosted by XIEK was a success again.
- The Cabin Crawl was back for the 3rd year with 8 awesome cabins.
- MaeLynn Hill beraved the rain and shot our Panoramic Group Photo for the first time.
- There was a 16th Dragon Ice Cream Run and it was a huge hit again!
- PittStop and DCMINIs took the reigns for the 12th Dragon Bingo night
- Draggin Dragons (Pine Car Derby)
was hit onece again.
- Frank and Gail Myrick hosted Braggin on the Dragon Car show
- In additions to donating over 1000 lbs of food to the local food bank, we donated $8,755. to the food bank. Bringing our grand total donations to Graham County to $155,548.
20th Annual MINI's on the Dragon Review!

- MINI of Knoxville hosted our second Cabin Crawl event (8 cabins participated) and it was once again a blast.
- Dragon Parade hosted by XIEK was a success again.

- In additions to donating over 1000 lbs of food to the local food bank, we donated $10,921 to the food bank and Breast Inetntion tent donated $4,250 for Breast Cancer awareness. Bring our grand total donations to Graham County to $146,793

(second try) Annual MINI's on the Dragon Review!
April 28th to May 2nd 2021
Sadly due to lingering concerns of Covid-19, we had to go unofficial for 2021.
- Since there was no offical registration we estimate about 300 people attending a more laid back event for 2021. We still had about 22 organized drives but no group events like the dinners, bingo, movie and brewswap. In homage to our early years, we did more impromptu drives with a focus on evening get togethers.
18th Annual MINI's on the Dragon Review! April 29th to May 3rd 2020
Sadly due to Covid-19, we had to cancel our event for the first time.
- We were on pace to once again have just over 800 participants and 550 MINIs
- Due to restrictions imposed by Graham County and NC Executive Orders #117 and #118, on March 24th 2020 we decided to cancel the event
- Even though we did not have the event. The MINI community stepped up and had online donations and we were able to donate $3,750 to the Graham County Emergency Food Pantry. This brings our grand total donations to Graham County to $115,456.90

- Xiek did a great job filling in as host for the Farewell Dinner.

- In additions to donating over 3000 lbs of food to the local food bank, we donated $7,963 to the food bank and MINI Skirts donated $5769 for Breast Cancer awareness. Bring our grand total donations to Graham County to $111,706.90

- We Survived the Black-Out. Due to high winds and fallen trees, Fontana lost power for up to 36 hours along with no water for some. Luckily most of our fellow Dragon Slayers took it all in stride and made the best of it.
- Snooter aka Barry Patascher organized the event for the 9th year.
- Due to health reasons, Nathan could not attend and run registration. Once again the MOTD community rallied and filled in admirably.
- Folks from Canada and 36 states made the journey this year.
- The Welshman and MKO held the 12th Cigar Sampling Salon.

- MINIBee hosted the 3rd Twistie N Twilight Run. (aka the Robbinsville Loop)
- In additions to donating over 3000 lbs of food to the local food bank, we donated $6,291 to the food bank and MINI Skirts donated $3,433. for Breast Cancer awareness.

- Snooter organized the event for the 3rd year with a record setting attendance.
- MOTD Awards were given to: Jack Rowland, Pittstop MINIs and Nathan Freedenberg
- Folks from Canada, Germany, DC and 37 states made the journey this year.
- We had another great showing of 20 Vendors doing installs and selling their MINI wares!!
- On-site registration was run by Nathan.
- Snooter and Sunshine MINIs hosted their 5th Welcome Dinner.
- The Welshman and MKO held the 7th Cigar Sampling Salon.
- MINIBee hosted our two Newbie Orientations.
- Bev and Alan Miller along with AutoXCooper hosted our 3rd Dragon Wine Tasting..
- The MINI car show came back for a 4th round and was hosted by Outmotoring.com and organized by Bill Connolley
- We had several day drives offered again: Zipline by MINIBee, Sunrise Drive Thru the Smokies by Aaron, Phil, Mike and Janet, Parson Branch by Woody and Barb, Pigeon Forge and Dinner by Celia, Cherohala Skyway and Dinner by Frantic Freddy, Cherohala Drive and Lunch by Cameron, Deep Creek Waterfalls by Snooter, Elk Tour by Woody & Barbie, Cades Cove by Woody and Barbie, Heinzelmannchen by the Green Iguana, A second Brewery Drive by Shey and Terri, River's End Dinner by Snooter, Jet Boats by Gulf South Motoring, Geocaching.
- Dragon Parade hosted by XIEK was a success again.
- Helix and Philly MINI hosted their second Frisbee Golf tournament
- Chad from Detroit Tuned hosted the Brewswap.
- Karaoke made it's smashing return after the Brewswap
- Live music for "Chillen at Grill" was big hit once again.
- George Pearl came back for another Panoramic Group Photo.
- Way Motor Works had his tent party with a Snuggie Theme.
- There was a 5th Dragon Ice Cream Run and it was a huge hit again!
- PittStop MINIs held the 4th Draggin Dragon Pine Car Derby.
